What does the lpp in lslpp stand for?
My searching techniques have resulted futile. I have not been able to decipher the "lpp" in lslpp.
So, if any one know what the "lpp" in lslpp means, my curiosity would be simmered. Thanks!

In AIX 4.2.1, checking the man page for the command lslpp reveals "list licensed program products". This command will list all installed lpp and has numerous options. Some 3rd party applications may not show up in this listing.

List licensed program products! Brilliant!
I could sweat that this is not in the AIX 4.3 man pages.
Thanks for the response.
