    install PCMCIA from DOS

    I just format my HP notebook and i want to install w2k. The notebook has PCMCIA external CDrom. And I don't have driver for PCMCIA and do not have HP support utility disk. How can I install W2k.

    Now the laptop freeze, even when i reboot.
    after i install dos 6.22.

    Need more info: 1) the model number of your notebook and 2) what the error message(s) is/are if any.

    thanks for help.
    I hit hidden reset buton using nidle.
    Now, I reformat again and install dos 6.22
    this is for omnibook 5700.
    In couple of days i should get the cd hotbay.
