    Pentium/win3.1 error loading 256_1024.drv

    i received a Pentium 100MHz. no hard disk. connected it to my hardisk (configured for 486sx) with DOS 6.21, boots fine! 80MB ram ok! When try to load WIN, get "error loading 56_1024.DRV" Anyone know why?

    problem solved! an internet search revealed that the problem is video compatibility. Pentium machine is Compaq with video card on motherboard. Went to compaq.com/support then found the correct driver for this computer and win 3.1
