SCSI cd rom - Win 3.1??
On boot the SCSI adapter detects the CD-rom and lists it under the other SCSI device (SCSI hardrive). I have the correct drivers. How do I get Win 3.1 to detect it?
In dire need of help.

The CDROM must be set up in DOS. Check info with the drive. Drivers must be listed in the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT to load the drive. The drive, when set up will be accessable at DOS. Once it is, Windows will also see it.
I have never used an SCSI CDROM so I can't give you specific instructions.
Dennis
P.S. Please post back to let us know if it works.

After installing the newly updated ASPI drivers from Adaptec. Then you install the SCSI cd-rom drivers. This is all done in DOS by editing the confiy.sys.
Thanks Dennis, you got me on the right track.
