EMM386 error
I get the followinfg message: EMM386 has detected error #006 in an application at Memory Error 00B8:3128. Can anyone tell me what that means and/or how to fix it?? Thank you.

Laura,
with that little bit of info all I can tell you is that is a memory error. How often does it happen? Are there particular applications that cause it?

It sounds like a failing SIMM, or parity error.
Have you run MEMMAKER? The MEMMAKER screen walks you through it, it might help.
If you type MEM <enter> does it show the amount of memory your computer should have? If not, a SIMM has failed or is moved.
You could check all the SIMMS, remove them, then reseat them.
If your WIN3.11 was OK before and now will not start, you probably have a bad SIMM.
