    Drive Setup in BeOS

    Haven't installed it yet...was wondering what Drive Setup did?

    Sorry about my stupid question. What I really meant to ask was what it does. Can you use it to create a new partition etc?

    You can use drive setup to resize, create or delete partitions, however bewarn that it destroys all data on the partition that you resize.

    So this is probably another lame question, but if I installed personal edition in windows, then used DriveSetup to create a new partition (to put BeOS on in the future) would it erase the partition that windows in on? I only have one partition on my tiny 3gb hard drive right now.

    You can get Ranish Partition Manager to repartition your hard-drive without destroying any data. Get it at http://www.users.intercom.com/~ranish/part/
