    Eliminating the Event ID 8033

I am experiencing an issue with Windows NT box that will not go away. Installed a fresh NT 4.0 wkstn on a new Compaq laptop and everytime I reboot the computer I see the following in the Event Viewer: EVENT 8033 "The browser has forced an election on network /Device/NetBT_E100B4 because a master browser was stopped." I have hacked the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters\MaintainServerList" to state "FALSE" and I still get the message. I have compared the registry and every other setting to another NT 4.0 install on an older laptop and cannot find anything different. Could it be the hardware - don't think so? What could I be missing? Help.
