    NT4 workstation + SP5 have error in 0xc0000005

    Every to I start Word or Wordpad I get an error.
    My Office 97 -words/Excel and other applications error with NT4
    The memory at "0xc0000005" cause error. The memory could not be read. Click Ok to Close.
    I'm using NT workstation with service pack5 . what is this error and how do I get rid of it so I could use Word and exxel again.

    If I were you, I would download Service Pack 6a and install it. SP5 was pretty buggy.
