getting rid of OS loader 4.0
How do I get rid of the boot menu when I start my PC...tried fDSIK /MBR, i ONLY HAVE WIN95 NOW AND THE MENU COMING UP WHEN I START MY PC IS A PAIN...I DONÈT NEED THE NT OPTIONS

Delete the NT system files and run sys C:

well if it's still using nt files....nt uses a read only file called boot.ini in the root directory. just use a normal text editor and edit away. hope this helps.

Solved...sys c: , off boot diskette...thanks for the help.

i am havin the same problem as yukon bt when i go to delete windows nt its says a need permisson from trusted installer please help

This is an ancient thread, and unless you are running Windows 95 you are likely having a different issue.
Please start a new thread in the approporate forum for your operating system and provide full details of what is happening or not happening and what you are trying to do.
