I've got AOL as my ISP and am able connect to the net normally. However, once connected, I try to open the IE4 browser and cannot connect (unable to connect to server error). I've configured IE4 to connect through a LAN, since I'm already wired to the net through AOL. Is there some sort of special configuration needs to use an external (not AOL's internal) browser? TIA
If you are using AOL on NT, you are using the 16 bit of AOL. That is the reason why you can't use IE 4.0, which is 32 bit. A lots of NT user switched to other ISPs because of AOL's refusal to fully support NT..
