Need to reinstall Windows 98

I need to reinstall Windows 98 2nd on a HP 6638. Can someone give me suggestions on where I can find the information on how to do a clean install. I only have the recovery disk from HP. I do not know how to fdisk or much else about PC's for that matter. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Put the #1 disk in and shut the thing down, wait 15 seconds and restart the recovery disk should format and then start the reinstall. or you can boot to a bootdisk do a format C: ot Follow the instructions here
