I have a picture saved as a JPG file - anyone know how I could display this as desktop wallpaper? Thanks.

    Hi Spearo,

Save the file as a BMP file and copy it to your C:\WINDOWS directory. For best results save it in the appropriate screan size. eg. if you use 640 X 480 then convert it to that size so that it fits the whole screen.

Hey George...if you have Active Desktop enabled (View as Web Page) you can use JPGs without having to convert them to BMPs. Just browse to the image you want in Display Properties > Background.

Or download Irfanview www.irfanview.com and open the pic then options>set as wallpaper ,would save you from needing "active desktop".
