Obviously, you'd want to have a backup. I'm assuming you still have the original SSD, in case you need to do a restore/clone again.

Working out of Disc Management in Control Panel. Redid the System Reserve to 501 Mb. Then next partition says 222.51 GBs unallocated, then the C partition shows. with the remaining two The 222.51 GBs was a new item. Next? Have the original M.2 with the works. But, again, cloned the new 1 tb from a SATA backup hard drive.

I said in post #13 that you needed to use a third party tool, NOT Disk Management. You cannot move partitions with Disk Management.

Then next partition says 222.51 GBs unallocated
To clarify, unallocated is NOT a partition. That is unused space.

I use Minitool. I'm guessing Easeus is similar.

You've done the first step, so the second is to move C: to the left, next to the System Reserved partition.

One more thought. Just deleted the last two items as you suggested and now have a partition displaying 412 GBs. Monitor bar now looks like this: The reserved at 501 MBs, a not allocated partition of 200 GBs, the c partition, and an unallocated (since deleting the previous two partitions as suggested) of 412 GBs. Looks like we're gaining on it. Now how to move the C drive and the command to use, will try using Easeus, merge, clone, etc. ?

After you move the C: partition to the left (so there is no unallocated space between System Reserved and C,
you have to extend the C: drive to use the unallocated space.

Sorry I'm such a slow learner. Aged will do that. Appreciate your time, and I'm beginning to learn a great deal more than before this conversation began. I'm going to try and post both the Disic Manager and EaseUS results to date. Getting a bit more familiar with EaseUS. Disc Manager is not very flexible when it comes to moving partitions. Now I have to be directed on how to move C: correctly. Do I use the merge command in EaseUS? Other method to clean up the drive?

I don't use Easeus, so I'll just have to guess.

Again, you need to MOVE the C:\ partition to the LEFT first.
I see a Resize/Move button. Click that and see if you can select the C: partition and move it LEFT next to the System Reserved partition. After that, you can EXTEND C:\ to use the unallocated space.

Please look at the Easeus user guide:

BINGO! Done. The EaseUS documentation is not very good. Suspect that in updating the program, the documentation has not kept pace, and users are left in the region of not understanding. Trick was, that in showing the status of drives in the merge/resize feature, there was no mention that the user had to click on one of the two, left and right . . handles and click on with mouse and move to left or right. I suppose they figured only smart people would figure out how to use this feature, and left dummies such as myself wondering "now where or what do I do." Certainly appreciated your patience and help. Have a nice day, and don't forget to wash your hands. Jim S.

They added the Myst interface to the software, like Microsoft has done. You have to guess what to click on and then maybe drag.

They could have just said: After selecting the appropriated partitions, click on the merge/resize button on the right side. A new partition map will appear. Note that two black buttons appear, one at either end of the newly displayed partition map,
Click on either one of the buttons (black buttons) to move the partition to the left or right. Can only be moved into available space on either side of the selected partition.
    Something like this.

Please close this thread as solved. I can't remember how to close the item. Maybe ought to be a button, made more obvious, that says: Please press the button when issue is resolved. Jim S.

Glad you finally got it sorted out. Unfortunately when apps get "upgraded" or "improved", documentation doesn't always follow.
