    Resolved [RESOLVED] Saving FF profile

I'm trying to get things sorted to be able to load clean install of Windows 10. I don't have much other than programs on my OS drive but I want to save my Firefox profile and am having problems figuring out what they mean when I read the instructions, it says follow the information above. The problem is, there is nothing above.

How do I get the profile saved so I won't lose it when I install Windows 10 next month.

You could just save the whole profile folder.

    Enter about:support in the addressbar
Click on Open Folder next to Profile Folder
Save the files in that folder

You can read the official Mozilla instructions here:

Thanks Midknyte. I'll probably have another question once I get Windows 10 installed.

And by the way, I've never seen a backup of my profile on my desktop.

Mozbackup saved my butt a few times when FF was my main browser.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.
    Check back regularly for responses.

I'm not sure but mozbackup would not let me tick, saved passwords (was grayed out), before doing the backup.

    Did some search.
It may happens when you're using Private Browsing mode
Another culprit may be Master Password enabled.
