What Malware software do you recommend for Windows 10?

Hi. Just purchased a new Lenovo T580 Laptop. It has Windows 10 with the Defender Anti-Virus (you probably know this). My question is what do you recommend for Malware protection? Or do I even need that much protection? I'm on the internet quite a bit and visit many different sites for my work.
    Thank you!

Windows Defender is a decent antivirus solution. An occasional manual scan with the free version of Malwarebytes might also be worthwhile. As long as you are not clicking on those links or attachments in your emails from the Nigerian Finance Minister or the discount pharmaceutical suppliers, or other similar items, you should be as OK as you can be these days.

Sounds good. I am very careful about clicking on suspicious emails and links. I learned about that the hard way! Thanks for your advice, I always appreciate the help you give.
    Have a great day!

Avast free and Malwarebytes. Unless you're going on some shady websites, you should be fine

I think you need to read this before telling someone to use Avast:
