    On board graphics are spotty.

    Hello,

I purchased the computer below. It has run great. But every once in a while the on board graphics don't work. I see the HP splash screen but then it goes black. A re-boot usually fixes the problem.

Is there anything that can be done? Other than tearing it open and installing a graphics card?
I've never worked on anything this small, I'm a little gun shy.

Any advice you have would be appreciated. Thank you.

How often is "every once in a while?" If it's LESS than once a month - I'd leave it as is....

My network card doesn't connect to the modem every once in a while....which for me is once ever couple of months... It's only a small pain to reboot that always fixes it.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

According to the specs for that size version of your PC, there is only a mini PCI Express slot. I don't know of any graphics adapter that would fit that.
