Resolved [RESOLVED] Unable to Delete A Directory in Windows

I am running Windows 7 pro 64 bit. I have a folder which I cannot delete. I am following this which has worked really well for me in the past

    when I enter dir /x

    I get a dir name of SUNDAY~1.<1~

    and when I enter rmdir /q /s SUNDAY~1.<~

I get a file not found error message. I don't think rmdir supports a wildcard. This is the only directory in this directory, so a wild card might do the trick.

Is there something else that might delete this directory? It was created by my FTP software and this software has created directories with illegal characters before but i have always been able to dleete them with the above method. I have never seen a folder name with a double ~ before.

There were two bad folders but the one with the single ~ deleted without any problems but this one is persistent grrrrrr lol

    thanks
