    Text color settings

Seems every time Microsoft has an update , I have changes to my settings. Previously after I visited a certain website after a search the text would be purple , so it would be easy to discern that I had tried that link before. Now it remains the same color...no change. Is it a Windows setting I need to configure or is it a Browser problem (Firefox) ? How can it get it back to the way it was ? Appreciate any help offered.

HP PC, Windows 10, Firefox browser.[/B]

Standard "visited" color used to be red, but there's so much red already on pages, that I changed mine to orange in userchrome.css.
