    Resolved [RESOLVED] Safe File upload

I have two pdf files I'd like to upload for public access by anyone who wants to download them.

They're both pdf files each less than 200 megs. I could use my Dropbox but I'd prefer they remain somewhat anonymous because they involve lease documents related to a renter's dispute in my apartment building and for now I'd prefer they just be available without obvious evidence I uploaded them.

I'm certainly not expecting anywhere near high level anonymity but I'd like to send the link to about 100 people I know are involved in this dispute for their own use.

There are many suggestions available using a google search but very importantly I also want to make sure the downloads are safe for those that choose to have a look at them.. no excessive ads or malware laden download apps.

    TIA

I wouldn't use an existing personal file share host. Can you set up another Dropbox account just for these files?

What other options has Google suggested that you are considering?

I just did a google search for anonymous file upload but haven't actually considered any because they are all new names to me.

    set up another Dropbox account
That's a good idea. I'll look into that. tnks

Might want to use a VPN to create the account and upload the files also. That way, the IP address that uploaded them won't be recorded and available to anyone, assuming that you use a VPN that does not keep logs.

This file upload site was recommended to me..

    https://gofile.io/

I tested it first uploading a random file and then downloading it.. no d/l app was needed and it seemed safe
with no unexpected hiccups or unwanted downloads appearing in my browser or download
    folder.

I did upload it using a VPN because it's best practice.
