[RESOLVED] Firefox favicons missing
I have many folders and subfolders in my Bookmarks, and the favicons for the 1,987 bookmarks helped me navigate faster. I switched to Waterfox for a few months to keep my XUL extensions. When I reopened FF yesterday, I copied the newest places.sqlite from WF to FF, and all the favicons in FF disappeared. Going to a site brings back each, one. at. a. time.

Did you also copy over the favicons.sqlite?
Next time, you could do an export of your bookmarks.html instead.
Go to Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
Click Import and Backup > Export Bookmarks to HTML...
Click Save
(bookmarks.html will be created)
To import, go to Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
Click Import and Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML...
Browse to bookmarks.html, and click Open
You'd need to use the HTML bookmarks, because .json bookmark backups don't save favicons.
