I did. I went through the registry and deleted all entries. Then went into AppData, ProgramData and Program Files and deleted all folders. Then I rebooted and installed the FFESR. No issues with Chrome whatsoever.
Vivaldi is a great suggestion. I've heard about it. Might give it a try...

I tried Vivaldi. One time it refused to close and I had to end task with task manager. Then when I tried to stream Hulu, Hulu gave an error.

If anyone is interested in a viable alternative to Chrome, there's a browswer called Brave that's chromium based and works with Hulu streaming. I've tried it in both Catalina and Windows 10 and it works well.
