    Play records through microphone line

Hey guys I need your help and i hope maybe here i'll get my answet. I'm looking for a programme that allow to play records (that i make) through microphone line.

I work as a pollster at home, on my private computer (with Windows 10). And as it happens on this job, people quite rarely agree for an interview so most of the time i repeat the same introduction and this kills my throat. So I would like to record some of the lines I say and play it. But I can't use any binds, because the programme that I use to do interviews doesn't allow me to basically do anything. So I need a programme that could play the records through microphone line, so my programme would think that I am saying it and allow it to play to my interviews.

I have tried to use a programme called Resanance, but I had one big problem with it. I could only play records or only speak with my interviews. I can't do both at the same time, and I don't know why. Maybe it's my fault, but I think I've tried every possible combinations with my settings and it didn't work. So maybe you guys could help me find the right programme? It can be paid.

If you need more details please tell me.

From what you're saying you want to be able to mix your live mic with previous vocal recordings you've made into your computer through one mic input. Probably the best way would be using an external sound card/audio mixer. There are many available, some cheap and some expensive. Many have the option to also use your computer's USB input rather than the mic input.

This is just one I found doing a google search for external sound card/audio mixer

    Here's another...

I'm not recommending either of these specifically, just giving ideas about the type of
    devices you can use.

Alternately if your recordings are already on your computer then you could use a software program to mix the mic input and the recordings internally...

    eg:

Yeah, exacly. Basically I want to play my mp3 through my mic line and i'm looking for some kind of a software. I've tried programe called resanance, but it didn't work for me. And i would like not to use additional hardware like mixer or such.

The only way you're going to get two devices into one physical input is with an external device to mix them together. However you might be able to get two inputs at once if one, say the mp3 player, is plugged into the mic input and the other, the mic, is plugged into a usb input.. then a software mixer like I linked to above could work. Alternately you could plug them each into their own usb input and forget the mic input altogether.

Also, taking another approach.. if you have a CD/DVD player installed on your computer then you could use that instead of the mp3 player and not have to worry about two separate inputs.

Or you could just record the mp3 messages onto your hard drive and play them back with the computer media player instead of the mp3 player... that might be the easiest way.

Which of the above ideas have you tried and what happened if/when you did?
