Need help comparing Graphics Cards
I have a desktop PC that I built about 6 or 7 years ago, primarily to run MAME and some other Emulators in an Arcade Cabinet and some PC Driving games, nothing too intensive. I currently have an NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 and it seems to run fairly well, but someone recently suggested an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT. I know they are not Bleeding Edge, in fact they are older but perform well enough and reasonably priced.
I tried to compare the Specs, but I don't really know what is key to better performance.
From my niave perspective, it looks like the 8800 is better, but I don't know if it's worth the effort (cost is minimal). I have noticed a hint of stuttering occasionally in some Pinball games. (I'll look up my PC Specs when I get home, but I believe its a quad-core, w/8gb RAM, running Win7.)
I would appreciate your feedback (or if there is something better in a low price range) (looks like the 8800 is about $45!)
Thank You very much!

What's reasonably priced? Your budget? Anything under $50 isn't going to be much better than what you've shown here and may be hard to find. Unless you're shopping ebay.
I consider $200 too much for a video card but I'd be willing to spend $150 on a good one with 2GB video memory and DDR5 memory, memory bus has to be 128. But higher end cards need more power supply power, and a PCI-E slot.
That 8800 GT says it needs 400W psu, but you have to think about the other things running in your computer too. All your USB equipment, etc. Those and fans take power to run. Your hard drive/s, and DVD drives. So if your power supply is only 400w or 500w you'd have to change that too.
