Ever since I ran Temp File Cleaner the internet won't load properly. The links won't work and it takes a lot of refreshing just to get a page to load. What should I do?

Never mind. It just disconnected me from my router. It's running the internet fine now. However, my computer is still running pretty slow. At this point though, after Rouge Killer deleted the threat it found, I'm inclined to think it may just be the age of my computer.

The Sophos scan didn't find anything. However, I was wrong in that my internet still isn't loading pages properly since the Temp File Cleaner. It often loads them as symbols instead of what I should be seeing until I refresh it.

I use Chrome and no I haven't. I no longer have internet explorer. It seems to only happen off and on, but it didn't before.

Reset Chrome...
Click on "Customize and control Google Chrome":
Click "Settings" then "Show advanced settings" at the bottom of the screen.
Click "Reset browser settings" button.
Restart Chrome.
If the above didn't help....
Reinstall Chrome...
If you want to save your bookmarks...
How to Backup Bookmarks in Google Chrome
If you want to save your passwords as well see here: http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-ba...hrome-browser/
- Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
- Go to the Start menu > Control Panel. (Windows 8 users: Learn how to access the Control Panel)
- Click Programs and Features.
- Double-click Google Chrome.
- Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, by selecting the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.
Install fresh copy.

I couldn't find where to go to reset, so I clicked on the 3 dots in the right hand corner and went to settings. It told me that some of the files had been corrupted and gave me the option to reset. I did this and things still didn't seem right, so I went back and it told me the same thing. I'm going to re-install a fresh version right now and I'll let you know if things go back to normal.

Got it re-installed and it's looking good. Everything looks normal and it still kept all my bookmarks and passwords somehow even though I checked the box.
