[RESOLVED] Task Manager disabled
1--TM
I usually just right-click on the taskbar, but TM is grayed out. It won't run from the Run box, says my admin has disabled it, but it's lying. CTL+ALT+DEL gives me just a "cancel" box on the screen, not the 4 or 5 regular options.
Is this connected to my UAC settings? i have it set this way--see imageAttachment 15085
Instead of playing with system files, would it be better to do a System Restore? I have one from 5/31, but I don't know if it has Task Mgr. I'll also lose some programs I installed since then.
2--an easy one, unrelated to #1. I have GodMode on my desktop. Is there a way to search it?

You could try this:

I'd also scan your system with Malwarebytes, just in case.

It worked, MB says it's clean, and thanks. :-) That site has become very useful.
