Outlook 2007 suddenly asks for password repeatedly

I have Outlook 2007 installed on two computers. It has the same accounts, using the same passwords and they work fine. Today one of them started acting up and a popup kept asking for the password. I didn't change the password anywhere, and since it still works fine on one computer, I don't understand what is happening. I restarted Outlook several times, but it still happens.

I know I could go and change the password but then, since I didn't change anything, I am not sure why one is accepting it, and one is not.

    Any suggestion?

It could be any number of reasons, and changing the password won't necessarily fix it.

    Possibly useful links:

I have tried a few processes based on Steve's suggestion to google the problem. No luck with any of them.
Then, I tried your first link and at the point of entering the password (I had to change it because I didn't remember it), it did fix it. I suspect it is not the changing of the password that would have fixed it but the other steps of those instructions.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the update. With luck Outlook should be working normally on both computers now.
