elevated privileges
Hello
I am changing my account privileges to Domain User instead of Administrator for security reasons and best practice. I have some network shares that I was able to get to as admin but now I am not able too of course since I made the change. How do I elevate my privileges to now get to them shares with my new admin only account I am going to use for this purpose only.
Thanks

As a Domain User, you would need to get someone who is an Administrator for the share folders to add your user account to the share privileges for those folders.

Hello, Thanks for the reply. That is what I am looking to do since I am also the Admin. I thought at some point I heard there was a way to "elevate permissions" by right clicking the cmd and running that with an account that has admin privileges and then running windows explorer from there.
Thanks
