Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this ONLY talking about the ONE option in the attached picture AND my Gmail - EMAIL account is going to remain intact.

I got that message as well. I never actually signed up for one of those so I guess it just comes with a gmail acc't. I don't know what a google+ even does.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.

Fink, if you look at the photo I posted, it shows many but not all of the Google applications that come with a Gmail account. Google + is simple one of those... I never used it.

I got the same message and some photographer friends of mine did too. They said their photos were housed there and they would lose the ones posted on PentaxForums because they'd no longer be linked from Google + is all.
I ignored the message sent to me because I don't house my photos on Google +.
I'm touched by their not wanting to reveal our private data.
I kept getting customers who said they saw my listing on Google, but I don't have a web page, and they couldn't find the G page again. It took a few years for me to find out G had set up a page for me. Now I can't find it, because I have 4 Goo logins just for Youtube.
