Simple backup program
It's me, Foxy, as one of my aliases
I know there are a gazillion backup programs out there. I need something really simple and intuitive to back up my D(Data) partition and my AppData folder either on-demand or automatically across the network to my other computer. Both have Win7Ult and the same structure. Because D is a drive and AppData is a sys folder, I haven't much success doing it manually.
I will stay logged in.

This has been going on for weeks, but it's gotten worse. Gateway doesn't access the network, can't even access itself on the network. HP no longer sees the Gateway, but it did before. I originally posted the problem in Networking, but it's changed in the past few days.
Installed both programs. Neither program sees the network. Perfect score. We'll talk again next week.
should have kept my XP machines.

Sounds like it may be a hardware problem.

As I said in the other thread, you still need to set up the network. The backup/sync apps won't get around that for you.
