    Resolved [RESOLVED] Remove some networks

Is is possible to remove some networks?

I have four listed that aren't mine and thou I keep checking to NOT connect automatically, the check marks disappear.

My connection drops a couple of times a day lately.

Running Windows 10 on a G70 Lenovo laptop.

    Thanks.

I bet they are all labeled SECURE.... so if you don't have the password, you "can't" connect.

Does your connection drop while using the computer or while you are away?

If while away, looking in Device Manager-> Network Adaptors properties and disable the Power Saver options.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Yes, I'd guess they are my neighbor's networks.

This does happen while I'm using the computer but more often if I leave it for a while.

I have two connections for Netgear that are mine.
    Device manager shows 8 miniports.

I disabled power saving under "Power & sleep" to never shut down. Can't find that option in Device Manager. Maybe that will do it.

    Thanks.

In Device Manager look at Network Adaptors...then

Mine is called DELL Wireless ect.....and when look in the properties of that I see a tab called Power Management. Uncheck the Allow Computer to turn off this device.

Ok, found mine under Realtek Family Controller and it was checked so took the check out and will see how it goes later.

    Thanks very much.
