    Sound from the wrong driver

See pic. Sounds from a website come out of the wrong driver and VLC has no sound at all, I suspect for the same reason.

Why (and how dare it) is the sound going to a different playback driver than the one I designated as the Default?

    How do I fix it?

    Thanks - rev

    Edit: I forgot the pic

I don't have a MOTU, but it looks like each listing is for a different port. You'll just have to try different ones.

I think the ports you're referring to are the INs and OUTs of the MOTU? The sound from VLC suddenly started happening through Microsoft Sound Mapper - no idea what that is and it's not listed at all under Cnrtl/Panel > Sound, but it seems to be mapping the sound to the correct Output driver. I don't know how it got configured that way but I'm happy that it works. I haven't checked sound on the web since then but I will and I'll post back.
