    Can I get bad blocks out of the loop?

    I have a drive with a few bad blocks, is there a way I can make them unavailable or invisible such that stuff cannot be put there?

    If there are bad blocks, you should be really replacing the drive. Chkdsk will mark bad blocks as unusable, but I wouldn't trust that drive.
