    Resolved [RESOLVED] Keyboard adding characters

My Logitech wireless key board is suddenly adding characters in Word and other types of documents. I am using a Dell desktop with windows 10. Is it possible that I inadvertently hit a wrong key or keys? I have checked that I have the latest driver for the keyboard.
In the meantime I am using the wired keyboard that came with the Dell and it is working fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Brian

    Bluetooth or USB wireless? Keyboard.

If Bluetooth, have you tried to repair the keyboard with the PC

    1. Select the Windows icon, then select Settings.
    2. Select Devices, then Bluetooth in the left pane.
    3. In the list of Bluetooth devices, select the Logitech device you want to connect to and select Pair.
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish pairing.

Logitech has a specific program called "Setpoint" for it's wireless keyboards and mice. See if you have that installed and if it's the latest version.

Otherwise try rolling back or reinstalling the current driver shown in device manager.
    Don't believe everything you think.

    Hi Fink,
Thanks for the suggestions. I don’t have the “setpoint” program installed. This Keyboard is the K260 and is quite old. As mentioned above I am using the Dell keyboard which came with my PC and I will stick with it for now.
    Regards,
    Brian
