    ECHO DOT P=INTERMITTDENT PROBLEM

I have both and Echo Dot and Echo show. At certain time of the day they will not respond to me. Other time they
are perfect. I do not think it is a streaming problem but I cannot seem to fix the problem.

What happens if you power them off, then back on when they don't respond?

I tried that and it still did not work. But I saw another tip that said tell alexa to increase volume to 10. That worked. I have no idea whats happening and if increasing volume to 10 will still work?

The max volume setting did not work. Is the a wifi problem or doe Echo Dot just not work at certain times of the day?

The Echo and Echo Dot should work at all times. They wouldn't be worth much if they didn't. It is almost certainly a network connection problem.

    Reconnecting To Wi-Fi

If you see a solid orange light on your Amazon Echo, this indicates that the device is not connected to Wi-Fi. The power LED emitting a solid white light is an indicator of being connected to Wi-Fi.

It is not likely an Amazon problem.

Does this always happen at the same time(s) each day? Wireless interference is a likely cause.
