right click will not open programs
Right click <Open> works fine getting into my email and other online sites that I use but Right click <Open> will not open my programs. (Left) Double clicking does however work. I've done a registry check and everything appears to be ok. This problem seems to just started right after the large Windows 10 update that Microsoft did yesterday. Any tips how to correct this?

Is the "Open" right-click menu option missing, or does it just not do anything?
If it is missing, the link below might be useful, although if your Registry entries appear to match with what they should be, that may not work.

Possible options:
1. Roll back the Microsoft update to see if it works again.
2. Wait for Microsoft to fix the issue.

The right click menu is fine. When I right click "Open", it just doesn't do anything.

I've tried many of your tips but nothing worked so am giving up. I still can access my programs by double clicking the icon so I'll live with it. Thanks for your input jdc2000

Microsoft may decide to fix this at a later date, if you are lucky.
