Anything like net send or msg for Windows 10 computers?
Every now and then I'd like to send a message to a pc in another room in my house. Both are on same network and running Windows 10. I believe net send and msg no longer works. did they replace it with something else? Or, is there a free program that would work? A hack? Thanks!

I've tried that, but it didn't work. Someone said you had to have Windows 10 professional to use the "msg" command. I don't have that. Thanks for the response.

Ya, you need Win10 Pro. I don't know of any hacks that worked. I saw someone tried to copy the msg.exe from Pro, but it didn't work.
Maybe Growl? I haven't tried it myself.

That looks a bit complicated. I guess with everyone having a cell phone handy, that's the way to do it. I just don't always have my cellphone handy. Thanks for the response!

It's true that home editions of Windows 10 do not include msg. But why don't you download LAN messenger like Softros free trial or Qualia free app, here is the full list of these tools https://infocaptain.com/best-10-lan-...r-for-windows/
