ThinkPad X1 carbon disable power internal battery to replace SSD
Dear Experts
I want to change SSD for ThinkPad X1 carbon to a bigger size , I need to disable power for the internal battery first
I tried to follow (pressing F1) :

Select Config -> Power. The Power submenu is displayed.
F1 didn't work for me, I pressed Enter then F1 then Ctrl + S
But I can't get to the Config option ,,,,I am not sure why that is happening ?

That is not the BIOS setup menu, it is the boot menu. Try the following link to get into the BIOS setup. Post the version of Windows you are using.
