Motherboard that runs off of 12 vdc adapter
Hello,
Just wondering if there is a motherboard that runs off a 12 vdc power adaptor. Not the Raspbery Pi. I'd like to build something a little more powerful. Any thoughts, please?
Thank you,

Are you thinking of powering this using an automobile's electrical power?

No. And I'm sorry for being unclear,
Desktop space is at a premium. I guess what I wanted was to build something small but have some power to it. Like a NUC, but less expensive.
I work remotely from home. I do a ton of work in Excel so I needed something with a bit of oomph. I don't game, except for the occasional bit of Candy Crush . I stream a lot of Netflix or Prime. I've always built my own, but never a tiny one.
I'm open to suggestions. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks for responding.

Check out the following links for some ideas on tiny PC power supplies:

What size PC case were you thinking of using?
Note that unless your home office is in a spare broom closet and your desk is a nightstand from the Barbie furniture collection, you should be able to fit a decent size PC case somewhere.

Barbie and I are sharing desk space. It's more for aesthetics. Because of my disability I would like to keep it on the desk. Need it fairly small. Current box is 11" high, 14" wide, 16" deep. I need it smaller/skinnier.
Thank you for the links.

That is pretty large. Something like this would be a lot smaller, but still take a normal size power supply:

thank you for these links. Just how good are the processors used in these? I'm not running any games, or CAD, or anything like that. Suitable for office work?
Thanks again.
