[RESOLVED] MicroSoft Photo Editor
What ho one and all,
I seem to be asking all the questions!
Running XP and Office 2000, for as many years as I can recall, I have been viewing jpgs with Microsoft Photo Editor. If Photoshop not open, click a jpg and MPE opens. In the last few days, nothing, zilch. If I click a photo, the MPE button appears at the bottom as if the program is running; it even appears in task Manager as a running application. But nothing, no photo on screen, not even a blank MPE.
If I check the path via Properties, the path is blank. Seems the MPE is running but from where I have not idea and it is not even displaying.
I reinstall from the Office 2000 disk; the message says OK but still, nothing whatsoever. I have updated the jpg default program in Fold options, but still, zilch.
Where can the program be and why would it not rin?
Thanks
Rex

Issue solved. Found this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Photo_Editor and by deleting the Initial Entry key, all back to normal.
