Photoshop CS6
Not sure if this should be in the section or Digital Imaging, but since it is a software question, ............!
For years, I have been running Photoshop CS3 but decided to finally, give CS6 a try. I found that it can be installed along-side CS3, so all is good.
However, the newly installed CS6 does not open a number of partitions. Bridge see them, but when I click on them, Bridge locks-up and I have to Cnt-Alt-Del to close Bridge.
If there is a solution, I would love to hear it.
I decided to uninstall CS6 and try again; may be there was a missing something on the install. Since I cannot find a CS6 uninstaller, I used Properties / Find Target and ran Revo Uninstaller on the CS6.exe file. The result was that both CS6 and CS3 were uninstalled and all references to Adobe completely removed. That's a bummer!
I have restored the OS from and image and although I would like to try again with CS6, I don't' want to unless I know that I can uninstall it without removing CS3. Is this possible and if so, how?
Thanks and toodle pip

What version of Windows are you using?
Installing software to test is one thing that Virtual Machines are used for. You may want to consider using one for the CS6 test.
What type of partitions are not being seen by Bridge? How are they formatted?

Thanks for the links. Have had no success so uninstalled CS6. That was a disaster! it also uninstalled my long-time running CS3!
Had to restore the OS from a recent image and now back up and running, without CS6. May try again but see if I can put CS6 into its own folder for easy uninstall (should I want to) rather than into the default Adobe folder with CS3.
May be an other install will resolve the partition non-reading issue; may be it was just in installation glitch?

Installing CS6 into a folder other than the default may work, but I wouldn't count on it. A better idea (if you are running Windows 7 Pro or later) would be to use a Virtual Machine to test CS6 again. Another option if you don't want to mess with a VM is to clone your OS drive to a spare drive and test CS6 on the cloned drive, with your real OS drive disconnected.

Spending too much time trying to get it to work so uninstalled CS6 and may try again at a later date.
Thanks for the replies.
