That first one is definitely a photoshop error.

    Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_250db833a1cd577e\igdrclneo64.dll

It might be time to report this to Adobe, and see if they have any updates.

Sorry I haven't responded. I can't log in at home for some reason.

I used Photoshop over the weekend and on Saturday as usual it locked up about 25% of the time I change and image size and that's A LOT.

However I Sunday there were NO LOCK UPS!!! ALL DAY! For eight hours of straight use it never locked up once! I have not made any major changes to the PC or even restarted for fear of losing this.

You'd recommended before to save this. How can I save these setting and this date so I can revert back to them in Windows 10?

I will report the Adobe error.

This is possibly due to Microsoft updates rather than an Adobe issue, although it could be both.

With Windows 10, the only real way to "save" a working system configuration is to make an image backup file of it with software like Acronis. Even then, Microsoft may decide to "update" you to the "latest and greatest" version at any time, which may break things again.

Two possible options once you have a stable non-crashing system with Photoshop, depending on your needs, might be the following:

    1. Make a backup image of the system. If you start to encounter issues again, restore the image to a spare hard drive, boot from that drive, and use it for Photoshop work with the system NOT connected to the internet so Microsoft cannot update anything. Swap drives back for non-Photoshop work.

    2. Set up some virtualization software and make a virtual machine of the working system, and use that, with no internet connection set up for the virtual machine, for your Photoshop work.

Yes, these options are a pain, but so is constantly crashing software that you are trying to use to get work done.

Thanks I look into these options.

Could the problem be fixing itself due to Windows 10 updates?

I don't think it's Adobe's updates causing the problem because I hadn't updated any Adobe programs on or around the time started. And the problem remained after a complete reinstall of Adobe with their latest version.

Is there a way change Windows 10 to only update at certain times like once a week? I used this on Windows 7 and it came in very handy since I knew exactly when the updates took place to narrow down a problem.

That is most likely what is happening. The drawback is that it may also break again when the next Windows "update" is automatically installed on your computer for you to beta test.
