Can't boot ISO
Starting to lose it! Burned an ISO file to a DVD. On boot, the system just bypasses the disc with the ISO, and opens in Win 10 Pro. Have had the same problem when burning other ISO files. Is there a protocol I'm failing to follow? Basically, I download the ISO file, then do a copy/paste to the DVD-R drive. That's it! Help appreciated Jim S.

No, that's not it. You can't just merely copy an ISO as a data file.
Look at the UBCD5 Guide for the info about burning an ISO to disc. You could also create a bootable flash drive (Post #2)

I use CDBurnerXP to burn ISO's. It's a different process than just copy/paste/burning files.

It's free.
