    CPU FAN MONITOR

On reinstalling CPU fan after dusting off, I wasn't sure of the right way regarding direction, so I was wandering were I could find the CPU temp monitor to see if is overheating. Everything seems fine, it even stopped a terrible noise CPU was doing before I cleaned up.
    Thanks in advance

I use Speedfan to monitor temps and fans on my PC's. http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

    It's free.

Thank you Fink, I downloaded Speedfan, all temps are around 30-35,(CPU,HD,temp1, 2, and the 4 cores) I checked the fanspeed box but I can't see any values about it.
    Do you think are OK?
    Thanks again

I would be very happy with those temps. I'd start to be concerned if they consistently approached 50 when idling. I wouldn't worry about the speed of the fans.. if they're spinning and the temps are fine then all is ok.
Dust buildup will often cause fans to get noisy and should be cleaned asap. I do a dust blowout every few months.

Obviously the harder the computer is working the higher the temps will be.. eg: playing video games can really stress a computer. Also ambient room temp is a factor as well.
