How do you activate wireless such that it stays on?

I've got a Dell laptop (no model name) but it was made in 2015 and it's running win 10 in Spanish.

I Activate the wireless and try it. I get the message wireless is deactivated. I go back and turn it on but the same thing happens.

Show me available connections - Wireless is Off

I don't know win 10 at all and my Spanish isn't that great but I think it's not broken, I just need to know how to turn wireless on so it stays on.

    Thanks - rev

Did you check in the battery compartment for a model number?

Did you update the WiFi drivers?

    >Did you check in the battery compartment for a model number?
    No because I think it's a win 10 question.

    >Did you update the WiFi drivers?
I took them off and let win 10 reinstall them. No problems are shown under System.

If we don't know the model number, we can't look up the model details. It could be a hardware or driver issue, not just Windows.

That's just reinstalling, not updating. You'd need to go to the Dell site and see if there are newer drivers.

P51F - which isn't listed on the Dell site.

Found it! Inspiron 5459. Downloading drivers as we type...

A Google search of Dell P51F brought up "Dell INSPIRON I5558", so maybe try the I5558 WiFi drivers.

That's why I said the model number is important. Glad you got it sorted out.
