[RESOLVED] Backup Software Problem
I am using Easeus todo backup software with Windows 10. I was usually able to view my nightly backup images with windows explorer to be certain that the backup worked. That worked for a time and then would no longer let me see my backup images. I switched to Todo Image explorer and that also worked at first but now works sporadically. I can see that it did backup my computer but I am unable to expand the backup so I can visualize individual files.
Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

A Windows 10 "update" may be the cause of the issue. You might want to consider informing Easeus about the issue.

I have checked my Windows 10 update and it tells me I'm up to date.

Exactly. That may be the issue. Microsoft does not test their updates these days, that is a job for their users. The latest "update" may have broken the Windows functionality that Easeus was using to make their software work, which is why I suggested that you inform Easeus of the issue. They may already know about it and might be working on a fix, but it would not hurt to check.

Hi JDC 2000,
Sorry to be so late in my response. I have been working on this for over a month and it appears to be resolved. Easeus Todo suggested I try a revised version of their application (ver 11.0) which I have done. As I mentioned it appears to be working but I would like to watch it a while longer to really find out if this is the solution. When I can feel sure that it is OK I will advise and mark this “resolved”.
Thanks for your advice and patience,
Brian

Hi JDC 2000,
I have purchased a new external drive and I'm using the revised version of the application. It is now working well and I thank you for your advice and patience. The technical support at Easeus Todo were most helpful with the problem and I wish to recommend them as well for their efforts.
Best regards,
Brian
