Do you know Cameras & 35mm film?
Alright, I didn't see this on the packaging. 4 rolls of 24 Exp. ISO400/27 35mm film.
Expired in 2006.
package states "develop before 12/2006."
But the package has never been used or opened.
Is it still useable? Only if you know cameras and film; thanks.

A lot will depend on where it was stored. Many professional photographers would store their film in a refrigerator. If it was stored in an area much above room temperature, it may be questionable. At room temperature it may still be usable. I have used and developed film much older than that with usable results, however, your mileage may vary.
Photolady will probably have something to say regarding her experiences with this sort of thing.
One final note: You did not mention the brand or film type, but if it is Kodachrome, I don't think there are any more labs that are still able to process that.

Okay, I googled it and it seems to be useable. It was stored above room temperature. Since these films are no longer being produced, it stands to reason that it would be "old."

I moved you to the appropriate forum. That being Digital Imaging. As for storing film, if it was stored in refrigeration, it should be still good. As for getting it developed there are still places in the US that do this. You'll have to send it out to get it developed though.
Dwayne's still process film.

After doing some reading on my other forum, I found this link that may help you.
http://expiredfilmday.com/expired-film-resources/
I'm a moderator on PentaxForums and there are a lot of film shooters there.

I wouldn't use the film... And I sure as heck wouldn't use it on a special/important one of a kind event.
Expired for 6 months to a year is one thing...but Twelve Years is another.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Some dedicated film shooters would use it just to see the results,
I agree with Steve though, don't use it for important photos.
