Delete problem.since latest updates
I have an HP laptop and received updates a few days ago. Since then I cannot use the back button and then delete to fix a typo.
Here is a demo of what happens: I will misspell a word and then hit back arrow at bottom and delete. I TPYED..... that word wrong on purpose then I tried 5 times as you can see to arrow back and delete and instead of deleting the misspelled word I get a period for each time I arrow back.
Thus, the only way I can make a correction is to highlight and delete the entire word or sentence if it falls in the middle of a sentence.
What the heck and how can I repair this?

Have you tried the BackSpace key instead of the arrow keys? Does it work?
You could try a System Restore to a time when everything was working, or remove the last Update.

You could also try plugging in a USB keyboard and see if you still have the same issue.

TY I will try as many of these as needed as soon as I get over the flu which I apparently work up with. I did however try the backspace at the top and that works but I will need to retrain myself to use that since I never have.
Will leet you know how it comes out as I feel like doing this.
