Recos for a new Computer / Desktop

Hi all, I have an HP desktop computer. I'm old school and prefer desktops. Bought about 6-7 years ago. Here are the specs:
    Win 10 Home
    System Model S5-1204
    System type X64-based PC
    Processor: Intel Pentium G630 @ 2.70
    Baseboard Mfr: Foxconn
    Installed Phys Mem: 4.0GB
    Available Phys Mem: 1.48GB
    Total Virtual Mem: 4.97 GB

Anywho, I want a better faster machine going into next year and need to know what are the MINIMUM specs for a desktop.
This one is showing age. The programs and browsers take fuheverrrrr! to open and they stall. So what should lI look for guys, thanks.

What price range are you looking at?

Are you considering building your own PC or buying an off-the-shelf unit?

If I were buying or building a new PC, I would want one of the latest processors, and at least 8GB of RAM memory.

You may want to consider an SSD for fast booting, and a spinning hard drive for storage.

What you plan to use the PC for will also help determine the specs. Gaming, video/image editing, etc.

    Price range: Between 250-350
Will not, do not know how to build it myself.
Plan to use it mainly for internet use and saving documents to the hard drive.

Another vote for Steve's Dell link, given your specs.
