Error 0x80070035 ‘the network path was not found’

    Dear folk

I have my work laptop windows 10 that joined a work domain and I have my home desktop windows 7 that on workgroup.

When I am at home and from my work laptop I used to access a shared folder on my desktop to do backup.

Now whenever I tried to access the shard folder the error below pops up

Error 0x80070035 'the network path was not found'

    Work Laptop can ping desktop

Other homes computers can access a shared folder issue only with my work laptop

    Tried below troubleshoot :

The work laptop is probable looking for that path on the Domain. What happens if you substitute the path:

    \\Thermaltake

    with:

    \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

where the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the computer you want to access. Note: You may need a user account on the target machine that is the same as the one on the laptop and has permissions to access a shared folder on the target computer.

Might have to make sure the Workgroup is the same on all computers also.

I checked that on two home laptops one of them has windows 7 and other has windows 10,,,both of them have same workgroup as my desktop
Windows 7 laptop (not work laptop) can access shared folder
Windows 10 laptop (not work laptop) can't access the shared folder
Windows 10 laptop (work one) workgroup can't be used as it part of a domain,,,,can't access the shared folder as well

Means I am having problem with windows 10 OS ?
