TFC v. cCleaner
What ho one and all,
Following the thread at http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...System-Restore, I see that TFC can cause some W10 issues.
I want to run it on my elderly neighbour's computer, but obviously, I don't want to create new problems. Given that cCleaner seems to remove many temp files, is one preferable to the other?
Is there any alternative that is unlikely to damage the W10 OS? I personally Empty Temp Folders for my XP installation, but don't think it is available for W10. Or am I wrong?
Toodle pip and thanks
Rex

Win 10 has the same "Disk Clean Up" that XP has. It'll clean a lot of temp files. You can also do it manually.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

TFC works just fine for me. Use it on about 10 of those Win 10 rigs and never a problem.
